My kids have eaten beautiful food this week–munching on raw almond butter and strawberry preserves slathered on homemade, whole grain bread…pureed veggie “sauce” topping whole grain pastas and fresh fruit smoothies made with homemade yogurt…steel cut, organic oatmeal chocked full of mashed bananas, ground flax and cinnamon.  Why do I go on and on about all the wholesomeness going into their bellies?  Because my belly only calls for one thing morning, noon and night (twice at night); broccoli cheddar soup!  Do you think this baby will go for wholesomeness after all these months in mama?  I won’t be surprised with a “Where’s the cheddar?”, “More bacon please.” and “What, no salt on my Long John’s fish and chips platter?”
